I am sure that a lot of you reading the postings on this site would like an update on Jim.
Jennifer and I have been in contact with Chris daily and have been over to their home. I can tell you that Jim is getting top notch care, love, and attention. Sisters, brothers, Mom and Dad, and friends from near and far are visiting to wish him well and be by his side. Yesterday the kids in Sunday school (Blastzone) at BCC created a bunch of get well cards for him. The love and support is coming in from all angles and it doesn't go unnoticed by the Ehrlich family. Chris told Jennifer that she truly feels your prayers and they are helping them get through this difficult time.
This past week Jim started a pain medication regimen to help with discomfort in his abdomen. There is a nurse is coming daily to assist Chris, which is a blessing. Family and close friends are all around to handle the small stuff that needs to get done -- garbage, laundry, housekeeping, walking Tenney (their dog). Cindy Gagnon has been asked to assist in coordinating meals for the family so contact her if you would like to help. Any questions, concerns or ways someone can help can be directed to either Cindy Gagnon, Stacey Siciliano or Jennifer Spellicy.
Chris is like a rock, I have so much admiration for her, she is handling everything so well. Just managing the constant flow of phone calls coming in is daunting. She needs our continued prayers for strength, peace, clarity and resolve.
I have seen and spoken to Dana and Lauren in the last few days. You have heard that they have best Dad in the world (which they do), but Chris and Jim have the best kids in the world. They are so strong, always polite, friendly, smiling -- they are wonderful kids.
Oh and by the way, Jim has seen this site, is reading your postings, and is so thankful to those who are writing, and especially those who are praying -- so please keep it up!
