Baptism...

My first real memory of Jim was in Spring 2007. Jennifer recounts a bbq we were invited to at the Gagnon's house, but here is another memory...

It was a special day for my wife Jennifer and I, as we were re-baptized as Christian adults. What was special about this day was that Chris also was re-baptized. Although we didn't know Jim and Chris well at the time, we had shared something extremely personal and important together on that day. We would later join their small group and start our walk together, grow together, etc.

Jim said that he always meant to take this step, as a statement of faith in his adult Christian life, but didn't. This Monday, I plan to be with Jim at his home when our former Pastor (Lee) will baptize him. On Thursday when I last saw Jim, he mentioned that he wanted this very much to happen as soon as possible. I am fortunate enough and honored to be a part of this event and to have been a part of his life.
