My father is special because he is always happy and glee.
My father is special because he will always watch over me.
My father is special because he will always love me!

Dear Lauren-I loved your poem. And was so happy to see you on Sunday morning back up in Blastzone. You hold a very special place in my heart as I SEE Jesus in you. Did you know that one can see Jesus in someone else? Every person your mom and dad meets will SEE Jesus because of the way they love. And then perhaps these people will want to learn the source of that love and come to know God and His beloved son. My heart aches for you and Dana and oh how I wish your wonderful Daddy wasn't sick. I can't begin to tell you about why he is. However, I know that Jesus is collecting every tear you shed and placing them in a bottle. And on the day you finally arrive in Heaven I imagine him saying, " Lauren, see this bottle of tears. I wiped your face and kissed your cheeks each time you cried. But look Lauren-look at what you thought was bad and how wonderful I made it. Now we are going to smash this bottle because there are no tears, no death, no pain in Heaven." Won't that be a wonderful day? I love you Lauren and Dana. Can you feel my hug?
