Scripture
As we continue to pray for the Ehrlich family, we have been seeking out meaningful verses that can provide us all with some comfort and strength, especially in this time of great need. Simply put -- His word is a gift us. No earthly treasures can compare to the wisdom God provides us.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 (NIV)
To every thing there is a season, a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born,
a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal,
a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance

This pic says it all. What a great family!
ReplyDeleteI never got to really know or even meet Jim.My husband,Scott, did get to meet Jim at a church service(during the meet and greet portion)and to this day has a clear vision of their conversation and knew within those few moments that Jim was a blessed christian man, who loved and cherished his family and friends.
ReplyDeleteI did get to know Chris a little better at the beginning of this fall in a bible study on Friday mornings at the church.
The Gagnon's are correct. This picture DOES say it all. I know that this is a blessed family. They are blessed to have each other and all the friends and family that are surrounding them.
whether or not they know it now, They have touched so many in so many ways.I am sure God has had a big part in that.
I am grateful that I got to get a small glimpse,if only for a short time, into a wonderful Christian family. Thank you for this blog.
Chris, Jim and girls you will always be in my family's thoughts and prayers.
